That group of plastics finds its outlets in many sectors of the industry. Depending on the choice of basic raw materials and modifiers, materials of different properties and performance parameters become available. The most popular polyurethane materials are: foams, elastomers, lacquers (coatings) and adhesives.
Polyurethane Department of ICSO Chemical Production Ltd. has for many years been a specialist company in the field of polyurethane plastics: it synthesises some intermediates needed for the polyurethane systems, it offers ready-made systems for various applications, and it can also manufacture pilot volumes of selected products.
Irrespective of the tailored small volume products, the Department can permanently offer the following products to its clients:

Isocyanate prepolymers:
|
|
Prepolymers are intermediates applicable in the manufacture of various polyurethane products, like monolithic elastomers (machine elements), coatings and linings, lutes, etc. These are obtained in the reaction of isocyanates and various polyols (diols in most cases).
We can produce prepolymers starting from isocyanates: TDI, IPDI, liquid “pure” MDI, and from various polyols, like: PPG, PTMG and polyesters. The content of NCO groups can be controlled within 4-20 %.
